Can a mobile mechanic really diagnose a diesel?
For diagnosis and most repairs, yes. He brings the same scan tools that read injector balance rates, fuel rail pressure and DPF status. The jobs that need a lift or an engine out are the ones he will tell you honestly belong in a shop.
My truck is in limp mode. Can you come out?
Call (832) 528-0270. Limp mode is almost always a stored code with a real cause behind it, and it is usually faster to read it where the truck sits than to pay for a tow first.
How much is a diesel diagnostic?
$125, the same as any other diagnostic, and it is waived when you have the repair done.
